Artist Statement —

Isha Ann (they/she) is a Filipino artist, born and raised in the province of Batangas and currently based in New Jersey. They are largely self-taught in digital illustration since 2010, and also received a Studio Arts AFA from Hudson County Community College in 2022.

Their work is informed by their upbringing in a predominantly sapphic Filipino household, as well as their personal struggles with identity, femininity, mental illness, and trauma.
